Shot blasting turbines /wheels, are the core components of all types of shot blasting machines. Depending on the amount of cleaning required by the customer and the size of the workpiece, the number of blast wheels required varies. The shot blasting machine consists of seven parts:
impeller

control cage
side guard plate
top guard plate
rear/ front guard plate.
Features
The blast wheels are available in different operating powers: 7.5kw, 11kw, 15kw, 18.5kw, 22kw, 30kw, 55kw, 75kw. According to the different workpieces needed to be cleaned and the customer's cleaning requirements are varied, the most suitable power blast wheel should be selected. When the blast wheel is in operation, the steel shots into the blast wheels from the inlet pipe. The steel shots through the control cage flying out, thrown to the control cage of high-speed rotation of the outside of the blade, the blade is further accelerated, projected to the surface of the workpiece to be cleaned. Because the distributor and blade for synchronous rotation to ensure that the steel shots to the blade of the vibration-free transmission, thereby reducing the wear and tear of the blade.

Shot blasting blade is key parts of the blasting wheel in shot blasting machine.Normally there are 8 pcs of blast blades in one blast wheel.Blasting blades throw blasting abrasives on metal surface by centrifugal force to finish blast cleaning.
Distributor is connected to motor shaft and rotate fast.It impels steel shots and steel grits to rotate and accelerate. Accelerate steel shots and grits can reach over 85m/min to impact work pieces in shot blasting machine chamber.
Control cage is in the outside of the impeller. 60 degree windows are open as outlet of steel shots and steel grits.It can be adjusted to get better blasting angle to align blasting shots and grits on work pieces in shot blasting machine chamber.
Blast wheel Liners
Blast turbines guard plates are made up of high resistant High chromium wear-resistant cast iron. It keep blasting shots and grits in wheel housing and keep staff away from high speed shots hurt when operating shot blasting machine.
The guard plates are lapped with each other in a labyrinth seal to prevent excessive wear and blast media leakage. The end guard and top guard of the blast turbines adopt arc shape multi-layer labyrinth protection technology
